■ 個体解説 / Description

【日本語】

本個体は、斑紋形成メカニズムの研究過程で得られた、資料的価値の極めて高い逸品です。今年羽化したばかりの新鮮な個体であり、一点ものの美を放っています。
翅表 (Upperside): 前翅、後翅ともに構造色が発達した美麗個体です。後翅は鮮やかな青色系の輝きを放ち、その構造色は外縁部分まで大きく広がっています。対して前翅は洗練されたグリーン系の輝きを放っています。
裏面 (Underside): 本個体の最大の特徴は、裏面後翅の弦月紋列における【赤色の斑紋が劇的に拡大している点】にあります。それに伴い、赤の内側にある藤色の領域は大きく縮小しています。通常、この2つの領域の間には明確な境界が存在しますが、本個体のように「中央の黄色帯」と「拡大した赤色紋」が直接つながる個体は、極めて稀です。斑紋形成プロセスの特異性を証明する、極めて貴重な資料です。

【English】

This specimen is a highly valuable scientific masterpiece obtained through rigorous research into the mechanisms of wing pattern formation. It is a fresh specimen emerged this year, showcasing a truly unique, one-of-a-kind beauty.
Upperside: A stunning male individual with beautifully developed structural coloration on both forewings and hindwings. The hindwings radiate a vivid blue metallic sheen, with the structural color expanding widely to the submarginal area. In contrast, the forewings exhibit a brilliant green sheen, creating an exceptional visual harmony.
Underside: The most prominent feature of this individual is the dramatic expansion of the red coloration within the submarginal lunules on the underside of the hindwing. Consequently, the purple area on the inner side of the red is significantly reduced. An individual where the central yellow band and the expanded red lunules directly connect is extremely rare, with almost no precedents. This serves as an exceptionally precious material demonstrating a unique anomaly in the wing pattern formation process.
