●独自のA-YST(アドバンスド・ヤマハ・アクティブサーボ・テクノロジー)を搭載。

A-YSTは、「ヘルムホルツの共鳴箱」理論を採用したYST技術をもとにし、最大音圧時における信号追従性を改善したもの。

負性抵抗駆動回路のフィードバック量を、入力された信号の強弱にあわせて変化させることで、最大音圧時の入力信号波形の乱れを抑制。

振動板を効率よく動かすことができるという。

このため、小型ながら「重低音をよりスケール感豊かに再現する」としている。

本体前面に、低域特性を再生ソースごとに選択できるB.A.S.S.(ベース・アクション・セレクター・システム)のモードスイッチを装備。「MOVIE」、「MUSIC」の2モードが用意されている。また、AVアンプからの入力信号に連動し、本体の電源を自動的にON/OFFできる「オートスタンバイ機能」も装備されています。
