oval tone の初ベース用オーバードライブエフェクター。heavy blowになります。

値段に見合った。高性能ベース用歪みだと思います。

今の流行りとしてはミックスノブが付いているのが主流ですが、近い内に頭打ちになると思います。
結局は原音がドライブし、倍音が増さないことには、アンサンブルでは歪みと共に抜けてこない。

それを考えてなのか分かりませんが、本機はミックスノブ無しの歪みエフェクターですが、ovaltoneはベース歪みの未来を考えてのこの仕様だと思います。

まず特徴なのが、ミッドが歪みます。

しかしピッキングニュアンスに追従し、倍音が増すタイプの歪みです。

そして面白いのが、ローとハイに歪みが干渉しない事です。これが本機の特徴で、モダンな所だと思います。

つまり、ローのボトムと、ハイの抜けはドライ音が担保されると言う事で、ベースの仕事は邪魔せず。ミッドがアンサンブルで歪みと共に抜けてくるのです。

これはとてつもなく存在感が出ます。

次世代の歪みエフェクターだと思います。
また、派手に歪み感を出したい時は、上部のスイッチでゲートが効いたファズ系であったり、ファットな音像の歪みだったり変更出来ます。

発売してまだ間もなく、あまり注目されていません。

シリアルナンバーも二桁で、おそらくファーストロットです。

状態も傷無し、汚れも底部にわずか。
