テッサー(Tessar)はドイツ民主共和国(東ドイツ)のカール・ツァイスが製品化した単焦点写真レンズ、およびその構造の名称で、カール・ツァイスを代表する名玉ブランドの1つです。

テッサーは当時広く利用されていたトリプレットなど他の構成と比較して歪曲の少なさ、ボケの美しさ、何よりピント面のシャープさなど驚異的な高画質が特徴です。カールツァイスは「あなたのカメラの鷲の目」(Das Adlerauge Ihrer Kamera )というキャッチコピーでテッサーを宣伝し、実際に世界中の写真家からそう呼ばれるようになりました。

ベルリンの壁が崩壊する前の、旧東ドイツの至宝のレンズです。マウントを使えばミラーレスカメラ・一眼レフに接続可能で、50年以上経った今でも現役で使用できるレンズです。

祖父が長年、レンズ保管庫に入れて、湿気や埃・カビから守ってましたが、私は詳しくないため目視ではレンズや動作に問題ないように見えますが、気になる方は、必ず落札前にご質問ください。

シリアルナンバーも刻まれており、カールツァイス JENAという紛れもない東ドイツで作られた数少ないレンズです。貴重なレッドTです!
