通常の柿は木目のない真白な木肌で俗に『白柿』と呼ばれており、小口径でねじれもひどいため使いにくく材料として価値のない物なのだが、極々稀(1万本に1本とも言われている)に黒い縞の入った『黒柿』が発見され、珍重されてきた。(立っている柿の木の外見から白柿か黒柿かの区別は全くつかない)
国産材の中で最も希少な最高級木材で世界的にも貴重かつ珍重されている銘木中の銘木。
正倉院の木工品にも多数の黒柿が使われいたり、茶道具としても最高級品にかぞえられており、昔から珍重されている。
その独特の美しい縞模様は黒柿のもつ油分により使い込む程に深みのある色艶へ変化してい、まさに最高級品と言うにふさわしい風格をもつようになる。

1. After the first payment is completed, the order will be processed within the system-displayed timeframe.

Air freight: If the arrival notice exceeds seven days and the status of the goods is not confirmed, a customer complaint will occur and the seller will not be able to report it.
